Participants, working in groups of three, sensitized a plate, chose a composition, made the exposure, mercury developed the image, and gilded the image in gold chloride. Because none of the participants had worked with a view camera before, the camera was aimed and focused by Ken Nelson at the direction of each group. One group's effort resulted in this elegant, classic composition. |
