The program features an opening panel session with top contemporary artists discussing how 19th-century photography and its processes have directly influenced and impacted their work; and presentations/interviews by experts and collectors on why you should include 19th-century photography in your collections of 20th-century and contemporary art photography.

This is a one-day pre-conference symposium on "How the 19th century Formed the Basis for All Subsequent Art Photography, Including Contemporary".  The program features an opening panel session with top contemporary artists discussing how 19th-century photography and its processes have directly influenced and impacted their work; and presentations/interviews by experts and collectors on why you should include 19th-century photography in your collections of 20th-century and contemporary art photography.   Prices for the Symposium are $99 for a Society member and $109 for a non-member before Oct. 3rd; and $125 and $135 respectively after Oct. 3rd.
